H. Stagnari launched its Premier Tannat 2011 with renewed label
The surprise in some events held in the month of July was, the early appearance of one of the Tannat wines most appreciated by the public: the Premier Tannat 2011 from H. Stagnari made its debut before the launching of the red wines from the harvest of 2011 by other wineries, and showed its new label, combining elegance and modernity.

Vinos Finos H. Stagnari already has a well-earned name in the Uruguayan and international public for the large harvest of medals it has received, but particularly for its wine Tannat Viejo, although the winery has a broad line of products that accompany it.

One of these lines is Premier, which annually presents two varieties: Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon. These are young wines without oak aging, fresh and aromatic.

Fernando Pettenuzzo -the winemaker who works together with Héctor Stagnari- described the Premier Tannat 2011 it these words: "Before our eyes, this wine is very dark colored with with many blue hues, in the nose it denotes black fruit jam and rather alcoholic. In the mouth it is very subtle and pleasant reflecting its potential expressed in the nose. Despite being a young wine, not having aged in barrel and thanks to the excellent ripening achieved this year, it surprises for its roundness allowing us to drink it right now."

Moreover, Virginia Moreira de Stagnari , who personally takes care of the winery's image and the redesigning of labels, has introduced a touch of modernity with the stroke of the signature that characterizes its brand, by embossing the letters in gold, and changing the typography which has replaced the former Gothic font.

The grapes that gave birth to the Tannat Premier come from the vineyards that the winery has in La Caballada, near the city of Salto, by the Uruguay river. Precisely there, in 2007 began a survey of this terroir by a team of professionals who thoroughly analyzed the unique qualities of these lands, and that led to a thorough and comprehensive report that allows not only to define the characteristics of the Terroir of Salto, but also to optimize the wine production of each of the regions.

The Tannat Premier 2011 from H. Stagnari has an alcohol component of 14%. It is ideal for red meats and grilled cuts, and its recommended serving temperature is between 16 and 18 °C.
